When registering for the ICPC 2012 conference, your registration is not final until full payment has been received via credit card or bank transfer. Should you not complete your payment before the maximum enrolment of 400 attendees is reached, your registration will expire. When your fees are paid in full, you are officially registered and welcome to attend the ICPC 2012 conference.
Refund and return policy for online payment via creditcard
'Stichting HRSMC Congresorganisatie' declares that the distant selling directive applies to the General terms. For the contents of this directive, we refer you to this site.
Upon online registration and payment via creditcard, you have access to the ICPC 2012 conference. Please note that you have the right to cancel your participation within 7 working days after your online payment without giving any reason and without penalty.
Cancellations and refunds
Should you be unable to attend the 12th edition of the International Conference on the Applications of Density Functional Theory in Chemistry and Physics, a substitute may attend in your place.
Notification of substitution or cancellation should be sent in writing to the ICPC 2012 Secretariat. If received before the March 31st 2012, only a 20% processing fee will be incurred. Upon cancellation before March 31st 2012, 50% of the fee will be refunded. After June 1st 2012, no refund will be possible.
All refunds will be made after the conference.
ICPC 2012 shall not be liable for any damages of any kind, including indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising from or relating to the attending of the conference.
ICPC 2012 will not assume responsibility for medical expenses of conferees and their guests at the conference. All conferees are urged to ensure that they and their guests are covered by their own travel and health insurance policies while traveling to and from and while attending ICPC 2012.
To encourage open communication, each ICPC 2012 conferee agrees that any information presented at ICPC 2012, whether in a lecture, poster session, or discussion, is a private communication from the individual making the contribution and is presented with the restriction that such information is not for public use.
Accompanying persons are not permitted to attend the conference lectures.
Each ICPC 2012 conferee acknowledges and agrees to these restrictions when registration is accepted and as a condition of being permitted to attend ICPC 2012.
If you register on the ICPC 2012 site, your personal information (including your name, job title, university/company's name, telephone, fax and mobile numbers, postal and email address) is collected by us. We also collect personal information from you when you contact us (by email or otherwise).
All of the personal information described above will be stored on our database, which is only accessible for the ICPC 2012 organization committee. You can notify us after the ICPC 2012 conference to remove your personal data from our database, in which case it will be deleted.
We will only use your personal information in order to contact you (for example by email, mail or telephone) if we have any questions regarding your participation in the ICPC 2012 conference. We might use your personal data to inform you about future DFT conferences or about future activities of the Stichting HRSMC Congresorganisatie. If you do not wish to receive this information, you can write an email to email@example.com.
Furthermore, your name and e-mail address will be used for the participant list in the program and abstract book of the ICPC 2012 conference. If you do not want us to print your e-mail address in the abstract book, please let us know by e-mailing us at the above address.
